About the Authors
I am a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Teacher. My studies in Ayurveda began at Mount Madonna Institute and continued as a scholarship recipient at the Rasa Healing Center for Women in Kerala, India. I completed a yoga teacher training at Samadhi Yoga in 2000 and later completed the Mindfulness Yoga & Meditation Training at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. Informed by my personal practice in vipassana meditation, yoga and Ayurvedic living, I offer lectures, classes, workshops and retreats in both Ayurveda and Yoga. I enjoy holding space for healing, learning and spiritual growth.
I make my home on Vashon Island with my daughters and husband.
I am currently enrolled in the Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor program at Kerala Ayurveda Academy and I am a Holistic Health Coach, board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I received my health coach training at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I discovered Ayurveda in 2009 during a battle with Candida, and have followed the path ever since. I completed my very first Ayurvedic cleanse with Ronly in the fall of 2010. In 2013, after several more seasonal cleanses, I became a LifeSpa “Cleanse Coach” through Dr. John Douillard’s LifeSpa Coach Program and began leading Ayurvedic seasonal cleanses in my own communities. In 2014, I completed an Ayurvedic Pulse Reading course with Dr. Douillard.
My mission as a health coach is to empower my clients to take control of their lives by understanding their unique mind-body type and supporting them in improving energy, mental clarity and digestion through natural Ayurvedic methods. I create a safe, supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere where my clients and group participants can explore what health and healing means to them on a deep, individual level.
I live in sunny Chelan, Washington with my husband and our six year old daughter.
